Thank you for joining us at the BBW Garden Party.
To manage logistics on the day, stall setup will be available from 9am – please do not arrive before this time. You have been allocated you a designated pitch in advance and one of our stewards will guide you to this area when you arrive. Please stick within your allocated space as we need to keep walkways and emergency access routes clear.
The main gate to the park is at the south end nearest the Methodist Church. Getting vehicles in and out is difficult as there is very uneven ground near the entrance so we would strongly recommend carrying any equipment in from the street on foot if possible. However, if you absolutely need to bring a vehicle in to unload please do this early as all vehicles must be off the site by 11am at the latest. There is no parking on site. (This of course does not apply if your vehicle is integral part of your stall!). Vehicles will not be permitted back on site until the end of the event at 6pm. We would also recommend making a site visit prior to the event to check the access for yourself.
You will need to supply all your own equipment such as stall/table, display etc. and there is no power or water available in the park. Unfortunately, BBW will not be able to supply any equipment unless by prior arrangement. We would also recommend that your stall has some sort of cover such as a marquee, due to the unpredictable nature of the British weather! Please make sure you are adequately covered by your own insurance if necessary.
This is always a fun and friendly event and we have never had any problems, but there will be BBW Stewards and Licensed Security Guards on hand throughout the day if you do have any issues or in case of emergency, please contact them immediately. Designated first-aiders are stationed at the Lunch Positive Food Tent.
